Social Media Trend

1. Reel and TikTok. Reel is really popular to those who stream about their activities or tricks. People have different taste on TikTok such as humor, movies, sports and so on. People are able to be on TikTok for hours.
2. Long-Form Video. YouTube has the biggest interest as well as TikTok and Instagram Reel. People even stream such as video games, education tips, and cars.
3. Snapchat stories. Snapchat stories are short and fun to watch. A lot of the celebrities still use it to post announcements and about their stories.
4. Face-to-Face with screen- to -screen time.Since Covid this help many people to show off their brand. This is a way people can introduce their products that doesn’t require to them to be outside.
5. eCommerce. This Instagram shop and reels is a way thats easy for customers and sellers to show their products and a easy way to find them. It’s also a social proof.
6. Content strategy.  Many post content on social media post. It’s a way to motivate and teach the customers to grow in social media.
7. Facebook. Facebook is the same way as instagram and TikTok. You can even sell thing on Facebook market to introduce your product.
8. Behind the brand and Behind the screen. Introducing the band is a great way tp get people attention. Even the purpose of selling the products.

Broad Museum Collection

This image of Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse #17  by Paul Pfeifer the image is about sports. This image look so bright that caught my attention. I really like how the photography did it at a bug view. It shows how tall he looks. But it’s very difficult to see his face. Its nice how it was only one athlete in this image instead of many. I really like how the lighting is so bright but it covers his face. The height of his legs also gets my attention because of the lines.  I like how there a crowd at the back .

Job Searching

In this job people have the choice to make a film or to take pictures or both of soccer to help promote the youth club. This job is works week days and on weekends. Part time is based on performance. Salary is 20- 30 dollars an hour.  While in Covid – 19 mask and social distance are required. Only 10 hours or less. Work environment is multiple locations.  No remote working.

Canon Lens Experience

The two I read was about food photographer by Sasha Gitin and Sports Photographer by Peter R Miller. The images from the food photographer are so amazing to look at and delicious.  The sport photography can be different types of photographs but has to contain sports.  Working along with famous people and creating amazing shots.  Like the two first image are sport photography such as studio and motion.  They both have athletes that are doing type of technique. The two photography use different type of lens like in sports photography “EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM with Internal Extender 1.4X combines the flexibility of a zoom lens with a super telephoto maximum focal length” and the food photography “Canon Ef 24-70mm f/2.8 USM ” and “EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM with Internal Extender 1.4X combines the flexibility of a zoom lens with a super telephoto maximum focal length” .

In the photo by Robert Capa, it illustrates how the War world 2. This event is called the D-Day. Many strong heroes were killed. This is a very heartbreaking to many people who lost their love ones such as a brother, husband, son, cousins, nephews, and father. Many people died for because Hitler invaded Poland that was said that France and Great Britain had granted military support (because Germany believed that they needed power and land). The second reason that Germany was ruled by a man name Adolf Hitler that created the Nazis. Adolf Hunter killed many people such as Jews, Gypsie, and people who mental and physical disability because they did not fit the “Perfect German.” The Jews were the biggest target in Germany because Hillter had claim that Jews were dangerous people. Hillter and Stalin (secretly) agree to divide Poland. Hitler and Stalin sign nonaggression pact 10 days (about 1 and a half weeks) before Hillter invades Poland. Hillter’s troop begin surprise attack on Poland at Dawn. The Allied forced of Britain, America, Canada, and France attacked German Force on June 6th, 1944. A huge wave forced of over 150,000 soldiers, the Allies attacked and were victorious in a battle that became known as the D-day or the invasion of Normandy. The D-Day invasion been planned for a few months. But almost been cancelled due to severe weather.  It was important there was full moon for light, so they only have a small window of time to invaded. The Allies attacked during the high tide to avoid obstacles the Germans had put in the water. The first wave of the invasion of Normandy started with paratroopers. They jumped during at night, landing behind the enemy lines. They were to destroy the key targets and capture bridges to order of the main invasion force to land on the beaches of Normandy. During the next stage of the battle, thousands of planes dropped bombs on German defenses. The warships started to bomb the beaches from the water. While that was happening, underground members of the French resistance had sabotaged the German by cutting telephone lines and destroyed railroads.  

The photographer Robert Capa had captured this historical event. That capture the moment of War world 2. The photo is blurry because of the camera that was used back then. In the photo shows a man in the water that presents D-Day. In the photo is shows 

Why is photography so important ?

Photography is very important to many people because it creates many memories for many people. Such as important family events or images when they were young or older. Or having photos of their family.  It also important to have photos of wedding , quinceanera, religion events and sweet sixteen. There are also be photos for holidays like Christmas, thanksgiving, Easter, New years, Mother’s day and father’s day.

Photography is also important because students and adults the ability to have fun while doing photography. Photography is suppose to be fun and creative. There are different types of photography people can enjoy. So it not just one type.

Critique of Silver list

One of the photographer that got my attention is Granville Carrol. His photography is base on astronomy and portraits of people with using double exposure. That makes the image pops out.  So its works is very interested to look at.  I like how most of his work is about astronomy .

The second photographer that interested me is Mikeal Owunna is work is very creative. I love how the people of each picture he took has colors. Its very tell what type of work he does.  I just think its very colorful and bright to look at. Each are in different color and position.

I want to be a photography for portrait. For example a event photographer, studio portrait, and family portrait. So I would need a camera with a flash and a lensbaby.  I would need light kit for studio work. I would like to still work with lighting that has color. I also need a computer to edit and work with.
